Basic Criteria

Applicant:

1. Must be a Genuuine temporary Entrant
2. Must have sufficient funds to support his/her stay in Australia.
3. Could be onshore or offshore
4. Must be in the best interest of the applicant under 18.
5. Must meet the character requirement
6. Must meet health requirements (if applicable)

2. Visit friends and family, cruise, or have a holiday.
3. If you hold another visa that is expiring and want to stay longer, this visa might suit you.
4. You must be onshore when you apply and when DoHA (Dept. of Home Affairs) decides your application.

Tourist Stream (apply onshore) Cost from AUD 150

1. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Applicant can stay for 3, 6, or 12 months.
2. Visit friends and family, cruise, or have a holiday.
3. You must be offshore when you apply and when DoHA decides your visa.

Sponsored Family Stream Cost from AUD 150

1. You must be sponsored by an eligible family member who is an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
2. DoHA might ask your sponsor to pay a security bond.
3. You must be outside Australia when you apply and when DoHA decides on your visa.

Business Visitor Stream Cost from AUD 150

1. You can make a short visit for business visitor reasons, but you can’t work or sell goods or services.
2. DoHA might let you enter Australia once or many times while the visa is valid.
3. You must be outside Australia when you apply and when DoHA decides your visa.

Approved Destination Status Stream Cost from AUD 150

1. This visa lets citizens of the People’s Republic of China (excluding SARs) visit Australia with an organised tour group
2. You must remain with the organised tour group

Frequent Traveler Stream Cost from AUD 1120

1. DoHA ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​might grant a validity period for up to 10 years
2. You must hold a passport from the People’s Republic of China (excluding SARs).
3. You must provide biometrics within the People’s Republic of China before you apply.
